We bought this Woody figure when they first came out. Had him stored safely and when we got him out I know the batteries were dead and I was able to bend him forward and install new batteries. I did not remove him from the box. He says all his phrases. With that said I want to describe how to pull his string. He doesn’t speak each time and that may be from age and no play, but if you pull the string and lightly hold it while it slides back, he does say his phrases most pulls.
